Going Production

How it works

We deploy a dedicated CVM with a confined OAuth 2 Service for production.

As expected of Humanode CVM, neither we nor you will be able to log in to the VM shell. Only the publicly exposed APIs will be available.

What to expect

The CVM will have a limited lifespan, up to roughly half a year. When the lifetime expires we will drop the CVM (including all the data) and deploy a new one for you. There is no way to export the data from the old OAuth 2 Service CVM and upload them into the new one - by design.

Each new CVM will have a new randomly generated Client ID. Any internal user identities are also lost and will be assigned anew when the user authenticates with the new CVM.
