# Installation on Linux or macOS

After you click **Start locally,** On the next screen choose the Humanode Mainnet and Click **Install.**

The installation process will take a few minutes to complete.&#x20;

When the progress bar fills to 100%, you will get to the Home screen. This indicates that the Mainnet is successfully installed, and now you must [configure](/mainnet-guide/launcher/step-3-configuring-and-launching-the-node.md) your node before starting it.
