# Robonode

Robonode is what we call an autonomous VM in a Trusted Execution Environment that holds the biometric data of the validators.

It is not accessible to external operators or local administrators and is designed to secure biometric data in such a way that they can not be extracted, viewed, or compromised in any other way.

## Robonode Swap

We will occasionally perform a scheduled robonode swap, which means that all the validators have to re-enroll and re-authenticate. We will announce this in advance.

If you have lost your private key after you have enrolled and can no longer access the network - this is your chance to enroll with a new key.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://gitbook.humanode.io/docs/bioauth/robonode.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
